Where a private bungalow once stood, now stands this impressive new build home in Gloucestershire. The site was purchased by Mr Daniels, who chose to demolish the existing bungalow and start fresh, attracted by the financial benefits of a new build property.
A nearby house down the road has also had new Timber Windows installed recently, albeit from a different supplier. I much prefer the finish of the Mumford & Wood products, and everybody involved with this build has told me how impressed they are with the high quality.

Project Overview
Located within a conservation area, local planning authorities stipulated that all new windows and doors must be timber. With this in mind, Mr Daniels carefully researched various suppliers and options. "I visited the National Self Build & Renovation Centre in Swindon and saw the Mumford & Wood stand. I really liked the products on display and took a brochure, but initially thought it might be beyond my budget."
A recommendation from a friend in the building industry soon changed that perspective. His friend had recently used Mumford & Wood products on a local project and highly recommended them.
"Following this, I got in touch with the Mumford & Wood team. Matt came to visit with a sample product, was very helpful throughout, and I was pleased to discover that their range was within my budget after all!" says Mr Daniels.
Flush Casement Windows
After meeting with Matt Chambers from Mumford & Wood and seeing the sample firsthand, Mr Daniels confidently specified new Timber Flush Casement Windows finished in the stylish shade of 'Pebble Grey'. The windows feature 18mm astragal glazing bars that enhance the traditional character of the home.
Entrance Doors
The property's entrance is fitted with the elegant Tintagel Timber Door in the same 'Pebble Grey' finish, perfectly complementing the classic Cotswold stone exterior and delivering a timeless, cohesive look.
