Mumford & Wood achieved Carbon Neutral status in 2022 and has since gone on to achieve The Carbon Neutral + status, provided when an organisation has calculated their GHG emissions inventory and offset all emissions plus an extra 10% on top of all calculated emissions.

The National Fenestration Awards is one of the most prestigious accolades within the Timber woodworking industry.

Mumford & Wood, received a first of its kind, ‘Commercial Long Standing Service Award’ to celebrate supporting Essex County Fire and Rescue Service for 20 years.

Mumford & Wood supported this transformation by designing and manufacturing 45 bespoke timber windows and door, tailored to fit the unique openings found on the façade of the building.

In it’s ninth year, The Architecture Awards look at businesses with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability and showcase the firms who excel in their fields.

The project sent a few of their members to the Mumford & Wood factory in Tiptree for a tour of the facility, to better understand how materials are sourced and how Timber windows and doors are made – a real eye opener to the industry and a great experience for everyone involved.

On Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th January, the go-to exhibition for self-builders and renovators will be underway at the Exhibition and Conference Centre on ETPS Road in Farnborough.

Alex’s route started in Winchester and finished in Eastbourne where he had to negotiate some really tough terrain, most of which he navigated in almost complete darkness.
