Project Overview

With a completely blank canvas to work from, Mr Hancock took a considered approach to the design, refining every detail until it matched the vision he had in mind. "We returned to the planning committee a few times to make sure everything was just right. We weren't going to move forward until the design felt exactly how we wanted it."

When it came to specifying the windows and doors, Mr Hancock had already experienced the quality of Mumford & Wood on a previous project. "My local builders' merchant first recommended the brand to me. I used their products on a past development and was really pleased with the result, so it was an easy decision to return to them for this build."

Flush Casement Windows

Moving away from a traditional white finish, Mr Hancock chose Timber Flush Casement Windows in the subtle and sophisticated shade of ‘Grey Beige’. This tone perfectly complements the home’s rendered exterior and classic Cotswold stonework, adding a gentle warmth to the façade while remaining timeless in appearance.

Bi-fold Doors

To the rear of the property, a large six-panel set of Timber Bi-fold Doors was installed, also finished in ‘Grey Beige’ for a cohesive look. The expansive opening helps to flood the interior with natural light. It creates a seamless connection between the living space and the garden, an ideal setup for modern family life or for those with pets who enjoy the outdoors.
