As part of the Classic range our timber Spring Sash Windows feature individual 14mm slim profile units with true bars, a traditional external putty faced finish and a choice of frame profiles. These attributes will ensure that your aesthetic, thermal and acoustic requirements are achieved.
In conservation areas, and in more modern buildings where the structure cannot accommodate the rebate of the traditional box sash, but where the spring balance is not considered visually authentic, we have designed a simple box cover that completely conceals the spring balance. This allows the vertical sliding sash window to be even more in keeping with traditional appearance and has the added advantage of allowing quick, easy and efficient maintenance.
Typically in RAL 9003 Signal White but our customers may choose from the RAL Classic swatch.
On request we are able to offer a colour matching service.
We are able to offer a ‘dual finish’ where different colours are desired internally and externally or a ‘mixed finish’ where frames are specified to be contrasting to sashes.
