In London, this astonishing, new-build Georgian style home is the result of Mr & Mrs Gibson’s tireless efforts over the past 4 years.

In 2017, they purchased the original house on the plot and demolished it straight away. “We wanted to build a new family home for us and our young children” Mrs Gibson explains.

Mr Gibson is a professional property developer with an impressive portfolio of award winning homes across London, and has always placed a key emphasis on quality for his projects and in his work. 

Following an arduous planning process with their architect, spanning 18 months, the Gibsons ensured that their new home was to their exact specifications throughout. The result of their efforts is a truly spectacular home, featuring beautiful ornate detailing and intricate stonework throughout the property further complementing the Georgian era the Gibsons were inspired by.

As a property developer, Mr Gibson knew exactly who to turn to when it came to ordering the new windows and doors for his home. “For timber doors and windows, Mumford and Wood are in a league of their own. Towering sash windows finished externally in a colour complementary to Farrow & Ball ‘Mouse’s Back’ were installed across the home. French doors in the same colour finish, as well as impressive single entrance doors in a classic ‘Black’ external finish were also specified by the Gibsons.  

“There are cheaper products out there and the industry is full of over promising and underdelivery. For me, anytime I want timber windows and doors it is an easy decision; Mumford and Wood every time. Anywhere else is a false economy.”

“Nowhere in the world makes sash windows and casement windows like the UK, and Mumford and Wood are class leaders!” Mr Gibson comments.

The Gibson family have been living in the home for less than 6 months now and are still finishing up in some areas, but to have achieved such an incredible result in a relatively short period of time, really is a testament to the efforts of the Gibsons and all parties involved in this stunning project.
